History and Mission
Nziza, Inc. is a charitable, non-profit 501(c)3 organization
coordinating projects to help people in Rwanda and Southern Uganda. Nziza was founded to promote cross-cultural exchanges between students in the United States and students in Rwanda and Southern Uganda.
Nziza also supports educational and vocational projects for women and children.
Our objectives are to work in Rwanda and Uganda:
- to provide cultural exchange opportunities to children of school age,
- to provide vocational training to underprivledged women who are heads of households to become self supporting, and
- to engage in other activities related to children’s education and women’s self empowerment.
We wish to accomplish our objectives through culturally appropriate, non-sectarian projects and programs. Nziza’s administrative costs are currently subsidized by its members, so 100% of your contributions go to specific programs.
We appreciate your interest in our projects. We hope that you will one day make your own life changing trip to Rwanda or Uganda. Please tell us about it when you do.
