The Community Empowerment and Development Center Building project
The Community Empowerment and Development Center (CED Center) in Nakasongola District, Uganda is one step closer to reality because of Nziza donation of "seed money" for the purchase of bricks. The project includes a training center with offices and storage, a library, and small cottages to provide accommodations for international visitors.

Primary School Student Support
Nziza is happy to announce that our Primary School Student Support program is growing. This program helps to support young students attending Primary (Elementary) School in Rwanda and Uganda.
Many Families cannot afford a school uniform, school supplies and books. A $50 donation can give a child a new school uniform, new books, and school supplies for an entire year. The eyes of the young students say it all.

Visiting Scholar Program
Nziza is in the planning stages of a unique program to provide a professional educator from Rwanda or Uganda with a view into the American education system, visiting public and private schools, meeting with teachers and administrators, observing classrooms, and visiting university departments of education to meet with professors of education. ...more

Rubirizi Primary School Improvement
The Rubirizi Primary School in Kigali, Rwanda has 1,200 students age 4 thru
13 years old, yet they had no playground. The children played on a dirt area full of stones and holes.
Some of the holes were as big as the smallest children. We built a level play area and basketball court between buildings. The playground will serve as a safe place for the children to play.
