UPDATES:
October 2007: The playground and basketball court is complete! The school had a ribbon cutting ceremony inviting parents and community leaders. The children prepared a program of dancing and singing. The children are very happy to have a play area that is smooth and safe.
September 29, 2007: The playground is coming along. We expect the playground to be finished in 3 weeks just in the nick of time. as the term is ending. Stay tuned for information on the ribbon cutting ceremony.
September 5, 2007: The building project has begun! Nziza has contracted
with ERESCO Ltd to excavate and level the area and to build the playground.
Trees will also be planted around the playground for shade. Here is a
picture of the crew working on the excavation.
